Implant Dentistry

The implant-prosthetic assembly is considered today the most modern and predictable way of restoring missing teeth.  It is the primary choice for safely reestablishing your smile.

Oftentimes, dental implants are medical grade biocompatible titanium screws that are embedded in bone to mimic the natural tooth root with the aim of mimicking your lost teeth.  Thus, implants form the basis of your prosthesis (crown, bridge, or denture).

With thoughtful planning and case selection, implants are the most predictable treatment option, having success rates of 95%.  In your first appointment, our team will gather all necessary essential information to plan and indicate the best treatment for you.

The procedure for the installing dental implants is often one appointment and the post-operative complications can be comfortably managed.  Regardless of the time your body needs to heal (usually 2 to 6 months), a temporary or permanent prosthetic can be fabricated for you to ensure you can begin smiling with confidence.

When the healing process is complete, the prosthetic fabrication can be started.

There is also another possibility, called immediate loading, in which, the prosthesis is installed immediately after implant insertion or until 48h later.

Depending on the amount of teeth that you have lost, treatment options can include:

  • Single Crown (Materials may include Ceramic, Metal)
  • Two or more Crowns fused called a Bridge (Materials may include Ceramic, Metal)
  • Full Arch Fixed Prosthetics (Materials may include Ceramic, Metal, Acrylic)
  • Full Arch Removable Prosthetic (also known as a overdenture) (Typically made of acrylic)
